About Paramount Forester
Smooth and solid, Forester is Canadian hard maple. The strips are 3/4 inch thick and 3.25 inches wide, in random lengths up to 72 inches, with a micro-V edge on four sides. The urethane and aluminum oxide finish is ultra matte. Three colors are available.
Forester is nailed or stapled down, and Paramount lists it for on or above grade. A smooth maple surface is calmer than the hand-scraped or wire-brushed floors elsewhere in the Paramount line. As solid wood, it is not a below-grade floor.
